Mission Statement

The Dominican Artists Collective is a collection of curators, trailblazers and storytellers. Our mission is to open gates and expand culture to dismantle systemic oppression through art.  Our work supports artists by advancing access to creative spaces and networks. We build a collective third space, encouraging collaborations across mediums and disciplines to bridge the gap between industry knowledge and homegrown artistic practice to facilitate lasting creative partnerships. 

We honor our Blackness; we honor the spectrum of Latinidad and our ancestors. We educate, liberate and inspire present and future artists. We bring people together in all mediums of art to forge community in the intersectional legacy of the Dominican diaspora.
