Mia has returned to the neighborhood after being away at college, and as she attempts to reconstruct her life back home in Washington Heights, she is forced to deal with challenges she wasn't prepared for in this comedic series.

Border of Lights first came together to mark the 75th anniversary of the 1937 Haitian Massacre, a massacre in which thousands of Haitians and their Dominican-born descendants were murdered.
Every year—in collaboration with artists, activists, students, teachers, academics, and others—Border of Lights has come together to breathe life to a tragedy long forgotten, and, for some, a tragedy unknown.
